Yes, as I said that dose not work for me.

I don't use my internet browser to browse or view media. That's what the apps are for.

So your "fix" dose not help me at all.

WHAT?

THAT menu in the theater app was how I got to view all of my collections in one place. If that is not an option than this "fix" is not want I want.

I want the function that was already there.

 My issues is that it is gone from the theater app!

I followed your guide and I do have the Collections Library in the Library section of the server. But when I go to edit the Home Screen there are no options for the Collections Library to be displayed and what order I want it in, etc.

What do you see?

Do you have existing collections?

What version of the server do I need to roll back to get this option back?

It was removed from New Installs of 4.8.  So upgrading 4.7 to 4.8 will maintain your existing library.

So I would need to get the 4.7 install files from somewhere and install it?

I have TV Shows, Music, Movies, Playlists etc. No Collections came available. I do have collections and a scan has completed, and I did do a server reboot. This is a new install.

Apparently the devs have removed collections from the home screen on all new installs of the server.

There are no previous installer as the installers will get current release.  You can get the system file from GitHub.

Not sure here as if it appears in Library it should show on Home Screen and Home Screen settings.

Yes that is the zipped system file for 4.7.14.0.

So you have to do a new install as the 4.8 database is not compatible.

You currently have an install so you can delete everything in C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server and place the system file there or create a folder anywhere and put the system file in it and launch the embyserver.exe.

That is correct and nothing down further on the page is there the option to enable it as it is not there.
