janest 0 Posted February 15, 2024 Posted February 15, 2024 I have some videos with multi-disc, like videos in pic No.1, named "桃色探訪-伝説の風俗" (an interesting japanese adult documentaries, just for example), I add some suffix for them like cd1,cd2,cd3... It works well in 4.6.x and 4.7.x. When I upgrade server to 4.8.x or 4.9.x, it went wrong and split this video to three parts, cd1, cd10 and the other disc( in pic No.2). It seems take place when the disc number >= 10, is this a new feature in 4.8.x update? And an other problem is that in 4.8.x, when a video with multi-disc is scanned,(still use the video example in pic), its name to show in library will be "桃色探訪-伝説の風俗-cd1", which I think in 4.7.x was only "桃色探訪-伝説の風俗", without the first disc video file suffix "-cd1" to show in library. Is there any settings I can change to avoid this suffix in video name when scan media library instead of change every video name which with "-cd1"?

Neminem 1519 Posted February 15, 2024 Posted February 15, 2024 You could try this. cd1 rename to S01E01 cd2 rename to S01E02 and so on.

I tried this method, but it doesn't work in my library with content-type is home video&photo or movie. I think this will work when media library type is tv series. But the documentaries in pic is just for example, I have other videos like collected onlyfans videos, FC2PPV videos( yes, I only meet these problems with adult content XD), all of them sometimes have multi-disc, and their content type should be movie (restricted from my adult-content plugin metatube[https://github.com/metatube-community/jellyfin-plugin-metatube], it can only used in 'movie' library). Actually, rename these videos like a TV series is a bit weird.
Neminem 1519 Posted February 15, 2024 Posted February 15, 2024 Ok fair enough. ok try with 1 - name 2 - name and so on.
