Ok, i will try it with a fresh clean Kodi.

If it fails, what kind of kodi log do you need? Normal log or debug log? Are there sensible data in the log, so that it's better to send a pm?

Normal log is fine and is save to post in public. I just wanna check for crashes.

I come back to you if I need a debug log, in this case it includes confidential data and you should send it via PM.

btw, you could try sync in stages (not all libraries at once). If it's a crash, you could nail it down to a specific library.

Ok, there are many socket.timeout errors.

In Version Next Gen 8.2.14 there are no socket errors and i made the same settings.

I assume you added an "old" not supported library type for sync. Unfortunately, I cannot see which type it is.

As mention, you could try in stages and see which library causes the crash.

@scherzekingAs Luke pointed out, dvdsub substitles cannot be fixed due to Emby server limitation.

10.X seems to have a Windows (only) specific bug in some connection timeout situations. I'll fix it soon.

Maybe the portable Windows Kodi version is only affected, not sure yet.

Sync crashes, but only happens in rare scenarios when Emby server connection is slow/timed out. e.g. access via internet and/or behind proxies etc.

If you hadn't any issue yet, you might not affected.

Hi, I'm having some problems with the new 10.x version to get it to work, and I couldn't find a solution for my problem yet.
I installed the 4 add-ons (making sure video is last) but when I add the server I don't get the popup to select the libraries. (I can however log in on the Emby server, I can see a successful login in the Emby logs). Also when I go in the services add-on settings and go to Sync => Manage Libraries => Add Libraries I only see an option "All" instead of my 2 collections (movies and shows). They were showing up in the past (I have been using the add-on for a couple of years without any problems)

Emby server: 4.8.8.0
Kodi: coreelec 21.0-Omega (stable, fresh install with no other add-ons installed, running on an ODROID N2+)
Service: 10.0.44 / Video 10.1.0

Any idea if I did something wrong or how I can get it back to work? I attached the Kodi logs, if you need debug logs, let me know.

Well, I see an issue in the log unfortunately a very tricky one. It's related to data send by your Emby server. A picture could not be decompressed but I assume it's an general issue related to your setup. Can you assign me a test account on you server for debug.

Meanwhile you must downgrade to 9.X version.

Good news that it's working! Thanks! And confusing. I'm with arctic zephire reloaded, the addon is turned on, the test pop up in the settings is working. But that's it. 

Do you have any other relevant settings in emby or the skin?

Hello,

I have a problem with emby for kodi since the update at the end of july. I use a nvidia shield for kodi. At the start of kodi it sends a WOL to my synology. So at the start of kodi the emby server is down. Till the last update that was not a problem. When the server was online emby for kodi connects and everything worked. But now I need to restart kodi after server is online else emby won't work. It seems emby for kodi only scans at start for the server and then no more.

Can you please fix this?
