hellmut 3 Posted February 10, 2024 Posted February 10, 2024 Hi Guys. i have a server on Nvidia Shield TV, and i updated the server yesterday from 4.7.0.1 beta to 4.9.0.1 beta. Now I: - cannot login from the android app (the client, which is obviously on the same shield tv): says my credentials are invalid, and i get the error: "com.android.volley.servererror". - cannot login from any browser locally or remotely. i get the default landing page at http://192.168.1.20:8096/web/index.html#!/index.html Since i can't access the server, i can't get the logs, and can't know what the problem is... I tried to reboot the server, no improvement. Tried to reboot the Shield, no improvement. I'm stuck and I need a little help here please.
Luke 42077 Posted February 11, 2024 Posted February 11, 2024 @hellmutCan you get server log files from the server logs folder? How to Report a Problem Thanks !
hellmut 3 Posted February 11, 2024 Author Posted February 11, 2024 Hi @Luke, i attached the logs embyserver.txt
Luke 42077 Posted February 11, 2024 Posted February 11, 2024 Hi, what version of android does the server machine run?
hellmut 3 Posted February 11, 2024 Author Posted February 11, 2024 Hi, android 11, latest update: Shield 9.1.1
hellmut 3 Posted February 19, 2024 Author Posted February 19, 2024 Hi @Luke, it's better (the app sees the server and shows the media titles with images) but when I try to access the list of tv show episodes for example I get a timeout error. Server logs attached embyserver.txt

I have mapped the drives in Windows Explorer with the password and username and Emby sees it and plays all files with no problem. But when I try to change actor's profile picture by using magnifying glass it goes blank (I have to first delete the picture and then use the magnifying glass for this to work). How can I solve this to get rid of this errors? Logs attached. embyserver.txt

Did you try to move the server from windows to Android?

I have my media files on Synology NAS (HDD drives) and Emby Server on Windows (SSD drives - for performance) so there is no Android involved. But I do have painfully slow library scan issues and I'm trying to find the culprit for days now. I am running a library scan now with debug enabled to show full logs. I came across this topis as I thought that maybe my server has some problems connecting to mounted drives and that's why it's so slow. From what I see when I just run library scan without adding any new shows or anything, some nfo files (I store everything with the media) gets overwritten due to some changes detected (which is odd because these are years old shows), i.e: (full debug log attached) 2024-05-25 12:48:53.661 Info HttpClient: GET https://api4.thetvdb.com/v4/series/259866/extended?meta=translations&short=false 2024-05-25 12:48:53.926 Debug App: Saving nfo metadata for X:\TV Shows\Ray Donovan\Ray.Donovan.S01.MULTi.1080p.HBO.WEB-DL.H.264-PSiG to X:\TV Shows\Ray Donovan\Ray.Donovan.S01.MULTi.1080p.HBO.WEB-DL.H.264-PSiG\season.nfo. 2024-05-25 12:48:53.943 Debug App: SeasonNfoProvider reports change to 8031065 - X:\TV Shows\Ray Donovan\Ray.Donovan.S02.MULTi.1080p.HBO.WEB-DL.H.264-PSiG 2024-05-25 12:48:53.943 Debug App: Running SeasonNfoProvider for X:\TV Shows\Ray Donovan\Ray.Donovan.S02.MULTi.1080p.HBO.WEB-DL.H.264-PSiG 2024-05-25 12:48:53.966 Debug App: Running TvdbSeasonImageProvider for X:\TV Shows\Ray Donovan\Ray.Donovan.S02.MULTi.1080p.HBO.WEB-DL.H.264-PSiG 2024-05-25 12:48:53.968 Debug App: Saving nfo metadata for X:\TV Shows\Ray Donovan\Ray.Donovan.S02.MULTi.1080p.HBO.WEB-DL.H.264-PSiG to X:\TV Shows\Ray Donovan\Ray.Donovan.S02.MULTi.1080p.HBO.WEB-DL.H.264-PSiG\season.nfo. 2024-05-25 12:48:53.979 Debug App: SeasonNfoProvider reports change to 8031066 - X:\TV Shows\Ray Donovan\Ray.Donovan.S03.MULTi.1080p.HBO.WEB-DL.H.264-PSiG 2024-05-25 12:48:53.979 Debug App: Running SeasonNfoProvider for X:\TV Shows\Ray Donovan\Ray.Donovan.S03.MULTi.1080p.HBO.WEB-DL.H.264-PSiG 2024-05-25 12:48:53.992 Debug App: Running TvdbSeasonImageProvider for X:\TV Shows\Ray Donovan\Ray.Donovan.S03.MULTi.1080p.HBO.WEB-DL.H.264-PSiG embyserver.txt
