Server hangs after update to 4.8.1.0

I got a message to upgrade the server.I stopped the server, downloaded the .qpkg file and manually intsalled it . restarted the emby server and it just hangs at the logo.

So do I. I met the same problem on my TS-464C today. Just hangs at the logo

Hi, try clearing browsing data and seeing if that helps.

OK , i did a server reboot, stop emby , reinstalled emby, and reboot server. seam to solve problem for me.

Similar thing is happening on Synology and I did everything you did but did not resolve

Updated from v 4.8.0.80_x86_64 to 4.8.1.0_x86_64 with not a single problem. As a matter of fact all my Emby updates on the QNAP NAS have been without a hitch since 4.6*. However I am on a TS-253Be with an older OS version 4.3.6.0867. I decided not to update the OS as QNAP has a history of introducing bugs that can be exploited by hackers, even after QNAP has been warned by white hat hackers and QNAP displaying an unprecedented arrogance.
