Several series no longer recognized by Emby

Hi!

After installing the update 4.8.1.0 i have several (33) series no longer recognized by emby, for a start they did show under the series and playback was fine after about 2-3 hours prior to the update some series and episodes disapperad from under the series, i don't see any correlations as for why just these series had the seasons and episodes disorganized.

As of the hierarky of the folder setup for the series it is series/season/media.mkv some have series/season/episode/media.mkv

When searching the episodes appear, but they do not appear under the series rather they appear as a singular file.

Any idea of what can be causing this?

Hi, can you show your exact file structure and naming? have you tried running a library scan?

Devs will need exact folder structure and naming scheme as 4.8 has a little stricter identification requirements compared to previous versions.

Would have to testing here but will guess it is choking on the Season folder.

I changed season folder names to just S01 and so on which seems to work better, i'll tidy up my library with a better structure.

Thank you @Lukeand @Happy2Play for very fast responses.

Was going to comment had no issue on a new db entry with your naming scheme so can only guess something in the update from 4.7 to 4.8.

But glad it is working now.

Note instead of Renaming everything you could remove, do full scan, then readd to see if imports correctly.
