Looks like it's a me problem and I'll give up on this, i have a workaround in place, it's good for me.

Problems definetly started when updating to 4.8.0.80 and doing a full metadata rescan because of caching feature.
Maybe the problem was introduced in an earlier version and i only recognized it now when rescanning.

it gets added with russian title

 

It doesn't make a difference if i select de-at or de-de - i always get the original title with english info.
When i select en-us then it scraps the english title.

Honestly looks like a TMDB issues as the Title in the cached json file from the api does not have correct translation.

But yes getting weird results on this example

None existant translation get sort of nothing but will cause issues with partial info like TITLE then should fallback to English if field is empty.

@kingomdoes this answer your question? I just looked at the The Moon MovieDb api data again right now and it's still the same. This looks like an issue that needs to be reported to them.

A lot of foreign Movies.

I havent looked thorugh the whole Library i just wanted to fix the issue when i recognized it, but what i have seen when flying through was that a lot of Russian, China, Korean, Japan, Indian, etc. Movies show up with the original Names.

 

I now set every Library to de-de. I use the same setting in TMM and there i have no problems with titles so emby will be fine.
Since i don't scrap libraries anymore that already have information from TMM it only affects a library with a handfull movies in it.

 

Since it's a very specific Austrian Problem i don't think this can be fixed on Emby side (only thing i can think of is a de-de fallback).
