Offline with no Internet doesn't work

Does emby work without internet? My Internet is out and emby is not loading.

It might be important to know which client app you are using and if watching local media only or live TV.

There are complaints on this forum that it can work for a while, but will not work if it can't do the occasional license check.

I found CCwGTV (the googleTV dongles) did not work for me with no internet.  I reported this in the beta forums.

Also the fireTV sticks did not, but you can run emby app from another place on them with no internet.
