emby server music library management

adding new folders with the mp3 tags perfectly inserted into the files, emby does not always insert the news in the latest insertions, it seems to be causal,
Is there a way to always force this insertion?

Sound like OP is talking about Latest Music which is sorted by Album dateadded.  So specific examples would be needed of albums no showing first when added.

But believe the issue could be DateAdded behavior also as old files could be placed later in the list if set to creation date.

Seems this might be related to the issue Luke has been working with me on, re: removing and reimporting music files. Are directory/file creation or directory/file modification dates being used for "dateadded" rather than the actual date when directories/files were moved (or moved again) into Library directory?
