Missing Episodes

Is there any way to revert to the previous behavior of missing episodes being listed among all the present episodes in the Season view? Or allowing use to choose the behavior we want.

Having to go to the 3 dot menu is really counterintuitive. This really is only useful if you already know there are missing episodes.

If someone is watching a series they have no way of knowing if an episode is missing and just continue on with the "Next Episode"

Agreed. We need to be able to see missing episodes right in line with episodes available.

Design-wise, to show them with less opaque images and text and make them not clickable would be an improvement. And the play button used to appear over the thumbnail for missing episodes, so that needed to be removed...

But to remove missing episodes from even being able to display alongside regular episodes is a mistake.

I am 100% agree with you all. This is a bad idea nd and big mistake to remove in the récent release the missing épisodes option.

Why not ask to the users before remove features. I cant understand that

While i do not like that "show missing episodes" has been removed and the context menu augmented to replace its functionality I have found that the new method does have advantages if you, for any reason, lost some files and need to find and restore them. 

So, Emby, if you add the old functionality back please keep the context menu functions as well. I think neither function does everything that needs to be done but both, together, does cover most "missing episodes" functionality.

I don't know about you but everything new in the last 6 months is crap. The whole Missing Episodes thing. I'm using Media Center Master Again to check Missing Episodes. Now I see Tags are all screwed up. No longer automatically alpha sort and you have to drag them like Playlist items. And the Movies list of an Actor now shows Movies and TV all mixed together with no way to just see one or the other. Getting really close to regretting buying it.
