Playing Music from Genre Fails with Nvidia Shield Pro & Android Auto

Not having any success attempting to play music from a Genre group on my Nvidia Shield (2019 Pro version) or on Android Auto.  The Shield just doesn't indicate anything is going on. Trying again results in Emby Server becoming non-responsive and has to be restarted to use it again. This feature works fine on my S20+ and in a web browser.

Android Auto fails to play a music genre grouping as well but provides the message Error getting items. See attached log files...

I'm also getting error retrieving items on Android Auto when selecting genre and then either selecting Play All or Shuffle All. On the Android phone itself this does work. So Android auto specific problem? Just leaving the specifics of the issue I have here, such that I get notified if this issue is resolved.
