Recordings stopping early

I am having a huge issue and my family is up in arms many of the recordings are finishing early. I created a number of test recordings and some finish early some didn’t . Recent Mission Impossible started at 7.30 finished recording after 40 minutes. Seven news also finished early.

Is it possible to go back to previous stable or is it too late.

If you have a copy/backup of your data directory, then i should be possible.

I'm not entirely sure how to do this on windows, i'm running in docker.

Thanks I will rename the server and install a new copy and link the existing recordings to that old server location.

Hi, yes we've found something related to this and will be getting the fix out in a 4.8.1 release. Thanks.

Having the same issue.  Any idea how soon this will be fixed?  It's kind of a big deal when stuff doesn't record properly.  Rest of the family is rather angry with me and Emby right now.

An updated version will be on the beta channel this afternoon. As soon as we get some feedback on it we'll start working on a 4.8.1 release. Thanks.
