Bug after update 4.8.0.80 I need HELP PLEASE

I'm using Google Translate so forgive me for my English. Tonight when I went to open Emby to watch my TV Shows I found my library in this state and when I went to the folder structure I came across only 4 folders and my files are named on my computer like this (program name) > (season ) > (Episodes) But for some reason this happened in the last emby update. I would like to know if it is a bug due to the update. And whether it will be corrected. This is a very frustrating experience, I have been using emby for 6 years (since 2018) and have never had a problem that gave me this headache. And now that I got a job, I was thinking about paying for the Emby Premiere to have other roles, but that discouraged me a little. Again I apologize for my English. And I hope someone can help me understand what happened

Edit: I don't think it's important but I think I should add the information. Because these episodes consume a lot of storage, I have them distributed across several hard drives, and networked hard drives as well. But I've always used it this way and in these 6 years I've never had any problems doing it this way. I tried to add the new image for greater understanding but I got error 200 when trying to upload the photos. I'll try to post it as a reply to the topic

Is it normal in Portuguese to have:

1ª temporada

Instead of just

1 temporada

This is the reason for the problem, at least for those examples.

All seasons in Portuguese I use 1ª, 2ª... I've always used it and it's never had a problem like that.

when it's a season (season in Portuguese) it's grammatically feminine. So 'A' is used (first = 1ª). If it were masculine (for example the word episode) it would be 'O' (first = 1º)

OK thanks. This issue is due to the season folders not being recognized due to that character. 

We'll have this resolved in the 4.8.1 maintenance release. If there are other examples along these lines please let us know.

So all the seasons in my libraries have always been renamed in Portuguese with the ª which would be with the 1 st 2 nd in English and I never had any problems with that

The reason why it was working before is that the server was just looking for the first number it could find and ignoring everything else. However this also leads to inaccurate detections in some cases, so now things are a little more strict in 4.8 and it's only looking for certain conventions.

And this character:

ª

is not in the list of what it's looking for. So we'll get this resolved in 4.8.1. Thanks.

ok thanks for the clarification. I hope everything returns to normal soon. I did the test, took a newly added folder and renamed the folder to "season1" and it fixed it. But just thinking about having to modify more than 267 folders gives me a headache LOL

To rename the episodes themselves we use S01E02 instead. T01E02. S = Season T= Temporada | E = Episode in portuguese = "Episódio" so no problem.

We use the character "ª" in the sense that if "1 temporada" were added, it would sound like "One Season" in English. Adding the "ª" In addition to being grammatically correct in my language, in English it would be like "First Season" "Second Season (2ª)" and so on

hola buenas tardes a mi me esta duplicando mi contenido.tengo varios discos duros, y aveces no se si ya tengo una serie y la vuelvo a descargar , siempre se juntaba una con otra asi que no tenia problema despues de que actualice al 4.8.0.80 se me hicieron duplicados de las carpetas y cada una es de un disco diferente . agradeceria si pudieran solucionarlo muchas gracias

What server version are you?

Are the paths for each duplicate the same?  right click-edit metadata

How are you libraries organized?  And library setup?

But if you have duplicates within your library per multiple folders in that library you probably want to enable the merge option or delete your duplicates.  But would say this is normal if you actually duplicated your media.

esa opcion donde aparece=? pues normal tengo organizado ejemplo:

carpeta series: dark: carpeta temporada 1: S01E01 ,S01E02 Y ASI siempre los e acomodado asi en ese orden los nombres coinciden entre las versiones que tengo, no habia tenido problemas con eso hasta esta actualizacion. tengo la version nueva que esta en la pagina.

oh ya vi donde es. pero es que lo tengo en una carpeta que dice contenido mixto y ahi no me aparece esa opcion pero siempre lo e tenido asi y no habia tenido problemas

Hi, they are in the settings for your TV library in Emby library setup. Have you checked there?

Can you show us exact examples of how your files are named and organized?
