Madd_Mugsy 2 Posted February 3, 2024 Posted February 3, 2024 Until this update, I was using the Library Access feature to control which folders of data my kid has access to. Since the update, selecting any folder in the list will grant permissions to the entire library. For example, here is my folder layout: Normally, the Matteo user here would only have access to the folders with his name in them, like this: This would give me more fine-grained control over what he has access to vs just using ratings, since some PG movies are too much for him. However, as of the 4.8.0.80 update, if I select even ONE folder in any library, he has access to EVERY folder in that library. Tried it on several other users as well and it worked the same way for them. Can you please fix this? 2
VirulentPip 93 Posted February 3, 2024 Posted February 3, 2024 Was a bug that appeared during Beta a lil while ago and was fixed, although not sure how it makes it to Prod.
Max Overdrive 9 Posted February 3, 2024 Posted February 3, 2024 I'm having the same problem after the 4.8.0.80 server update.
Luke 42077 Posted February 7, 2024 Posted February 7, 2024 If anyone here is experienced with running sql queries then I can give you one to run against the library.db file that I think will resolve it. If this is something that you're capable of then please let me know and I'll give you the query to run. Thanks.
