Collections disappeared on Server Update

After the recent server update, I have noticed that many of my collections disappeared. I can recreate them, but I am curious:

1. Why did this happen?

2. Should I refresh anything to make sure there aren't other issues I am not yet aware of?

Hi, not sure why it happened. Have you tried running a library scan?

I did run a scan and it didn't fix anything. I just recreated them. Was a pain, but it is what it is. I also turned off automatic updates so hopefully I can avoid this in the future.
