HouseOfCards 95 Posted January 28, 2024 Posted January 28, 2024 Good day, I was wondering if anyone has tackled this issue before, and maybe has some ideas? I was looking for a way to print a hard copy of my media library? Does anyone know of a way to do this directly in Emby, or of a tool that can do it from the computer directories themselves? I'd rather have a nice layout rather than all the file extensions, etc... from printing a folder list directly on the PC. iTunes used to be able to print a nice booklet of your media, but I can't find a similar method without it. Any thoughts would be great... Thanks!
Solution GrimReaper 4742 Posted January 28, 2024 Solution Posted January 28, 2024 Not sure what kind of presentation you're after, you might explore Reports plugin export function and see whether it suits your needs. 1

Thanks for that... I have experimented with that, and it works on a very rudimentary level. It doesn't export to PDF, so it requires extracting to a spreadsheet and tweaking the formatting yourself for printing. It does work pretty well, but any time you want to print a new list, you need to reformat everything again before you print it... I was hoping for something more tailored to simply printing a PDF of your content without doing all the formatting yourself each time, if possible.
arrbee99 1817 Posted January 28, 2024 Posted January 28, 2024 Anything here any good ? https://www.partitionwizard.com/partitionmagic/print-directory-windows-10-11.html I find the third option useful for saving whats on a drive in case it expires and you can't remember what the heck was on it. Function over form though.

I'm not really looking to simply list the files as much as I'm looking to create relatively attractive reports of things in my libraries. Thanks, though...
HouseOfCards 95 Posted February 5, 2024 Author Posted February 5, 2024 The reports plugin seems to be the best option... Thanks. 1
