Cant side load apps on my Now TV HDMI Stick..

Hi all.

I recently brought a now tv stick, not the box but cannot get into developer options using the usual

Home, home, Home, Up, Up, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right command.. 

I had a Fire stick and managed app side load no problem watching all the sports channels movies etc..

to explain, the remote I have is the one with the Yellow direction key and branded with the Now logo..

Can anyone help, has anyone had the same problem and is there a fix??

What is the model number of the Now TV? I know SKY has issued firmware updates for some models to discourage piracy.

Sky has disabled the ‘developer mode’ on its £10 Now TV boxes to prevent users side-loading apps that could be used to stream illegal content.
