MateyTate 16 Posted January 25, 2024 Posted January 25, 2024 Hi, I have an issue that seems to have been around forever on my Sheild. I’ve tried both the Android TV and standard Android apps and it’s the same. When I watch a movie (MP4 container, with embedded .srt subtitle track), the subtitles all display correctly, until the very last line which persists and never goes away. Even if I turn them off and back on again, the very last line of the subtitles re-appears. Anyone else seen this?

Luke 42078 Posted January 26, 2024 Posted January 26, 2024 hi, that's strange. Never seen this before but we'll take a look at it. Thanks.
ebr 16177 Posted January 27, 2024 Posted January 27, 2024 Hi. Okay, that is an external sub as I suspected. If you look in that file, does the last line have an end time?

MateyTate 16 Posted January 28, 2024 Author Posted January 28, 2024 (edited) @seanbuffIt happens to all, and yes, they have an end time. It’s only on the Shield though, doesn’t do it on the iPad or LG app. It does it on files I’ve made myself with Handbrake but also from 3rd party sources. Edited January 28, 2024 by MateyTate
