Syntax24 4 Posted January 25, 2024 Posted January 25, 2024 On this topic i am having an issue with separating The Office and The Office Superfan Episodes
Luke 42081 Posted January 25, 2024 Posted January 25, 2024 Hi @Syntax24can you please describe your issue in more detail?
Syntax24 4 Posted January 25, 2024 Author Posted January 25, 2024 @LukeI am moving over from Plex to Emby and when I moved my Office US and Office Superfan Episodes it merged them and considered them as a duplicate. I tried going in and renaming the folder to specify “The Office” and “The Office Superfan Episodes”. I used the IMDB code to try and identify it but it’s not doing so.

Then run a library scan. Once it completes they will be separated. After that I would suggest using the Identify feature on the superfan series to make sure it is matched to internet metadata correctly. Please see if that helps.
Syntax24 4 Posted January 28, 2024 Author Posted January 28, 2024 Ok, so I tried this and funny thing it separated several other shows but not that one... The only work around I have found so far is going into each episode and manually separating them, then renaming the file "Superfan Episode *Episode Name) then adding the Superfan episodes to their own collection. The only problem this causes is that it still keeps Them in the Same show. The only thing I haven't tried yet is having a folder that is Mixed Content instead of Tv Shows may fix it. The weirdest part of all is even using the IMDB link to identify it, it still pulls it as the regular Office and not Superfan Episodes

Nothing is ever scraped from IMDB (cost-prohibitive), IMDBId is only used for lookup at other online providers databases. The Office - Extended Superfan Episodes - Talk — The Movie Database (TMDB) (themoviedb.org) 1
Syntax24 4 Posted January 28, 2024 Author Posted January 28, 2024 This screenshot shows I can add data from IMDB
