sliderbot 1 Posted January 22, 2024 Posted January 22, 2024 I have had SSL working for some time. I just renewed my SSL certificate and my Emby Dashboard indicates the correct hostname and 8920 port for SSL connections (after reset), but I cannot get the server to accept a SSL local or remote connection request over port 8920. Any ideas?
Luke 42081 Posted January 22, 2024 Posted January 22, 2024 Hi, did you reconfigure the new certificate in emby server?
sliderbot 1 Posted January 22, 2024 Author Posted January 22, 2024 (edited) The file name and folder location for the certificate was unchanged, but the password was and therefore updated under the Network configuration. Edited January 22, 2024 by sliderbot
Luke 42081 Posted January 22, 2024 Posted January 22, 2024 Does the server dashboard display your https address as the remote address?

Q-Droid 989 Posted January 23, 2024 Posted January 23, 2024 Your server is listening on the expected ports. 2024-01-22 21:39:53.150 Info App: Adding HttpListener prefix http://+:8096/ 2024-01-22 21:39:53.150 Info App: Adding HttpListener prefix https://+:8920/ Your server LAN IP is .18, what happens when you try to connect on 8920?
sliderbot 1 Posted January 23, 2024 Author Posted January 23, 2024 I modified the certificate conversion to use the .pem and .crt and it now works. Thanks. 1
