blickfeld 27 Posted January 21, 2024 Posted January 21, 2024 Hi there, is there any setting with which you can tell emby to download all data for a movie? in my case f.e. for condorman emby didnt add oliver reed to the cast. and other actors are missing aswell.

What you can do is select which metadata sources are use, and which is the default (usually TMDB). Have you checked that the online database you have set as default has the data you are expecting? I thought emby would scan imdb for data but I was wrong and at the TVDB there was a way less data then on imdb. Thanks a lot. Great community! 1
pwhodges 2012 Posted January 22, 2024 Posted January 22, 2024 Emby doesn't use IMDB for lookups because the cost is way too high. It accepts IMDB ids though because they can be used as a search key in other databases. Paul
