Luke 42077 Posted January 21, 2024 Posted January 21, 2024 Hi there @franmonaco127can you please provide a specific example? Thanks.
Edited February 2, 2024 by SrVirtual
Gilgamesh_48 1240 Posted February 3, 2024 Posted February 3, 2024 Sorry, my written French is poor at best so I will try and answer using English. I hope that is OK. if I were to guess I would say that your personal videos are in a "movie" library but, even though they are not theatrical movies, the library is configured to use "regular" lookups in the various providers. I would suggest recreating that library but, if you choose to use a movie library, deselecting all providers like "TMDB" or others and just using image capture to get thumbnails etc. I have a bunch of personal videos of my family and that is exactly what I do. I like the "movie" library for those videos even though there is a category for home videos. To make them useable I have to disable all the automatic lookups but that is not a problem because "Kirsten's Third Birthday" is not going to be found in TMDB etc. so disabling that is not a problem. I like having thumbnails and I like the "movie" organization but my home videos are not going to be in any database and Emby has a bad habit of matching anything they find that is even remotely close and that means, for a home video library, virtually everything gets poor/bad/horrible matches.

Yes, I know but I have been on a French board much of today and I just have "French" on the brain. I should have said "Spanish" as my written Spanish is poor as well and I confuse Spanish and Portuguese a lot and that does not help. I rarely post in any language except English but, sometimes, I forget what language i am actually responding to. Sorry.
