emby for Android TV 24 Hz change does not work

Hello, on my Zidoo Z9X Pro the automatic change to 24 Hz does not work. HDR10 and also DV works, but the refresh rate remains at 60 Hz. If I use the internal Zidoo player, this works without any problems. In the playback settings, I have checked the box that the player should switch to 24 Hz normally. Is this an error? Can this be fixed?

I have the latest beta version from the playstore. I don't know which number exactly, I only downloaded it on Thursday when the player arrived.

Are there differences between the Android and Android TV version? And are they both visually the same?

Hi.  They are different apps with mostly the same functionality.  Are you able to try it?

I believe this is a limitation of the Zidoo boxes and AFR only works with its native player.

Hi I have a zidoo uhd3000 with both emby android an android tv apps sideloaded.

The automatic refresh is not working with either apps.

it works with the native player and kodi but not with emby.

i am because of that issue obliged to watch things on my apple tv with infuse because on apple tv frame rate change but no hdr or dv.

it works but it is annoying. Can’t we have an app on one device that does it all?

i thought having emby premiere would free me of all those annoying things

Hi.  I believe that device only supports frame rate switching with its built in player.
