Emby for Kodi Next Gen settings question

In the settings for Emby for Kodi next gen under interface there is a setting for Extra Audio widget refresh what is this setting.

 

there is also a setting for refresh skin on emby server connection does this need enabled

Can you post a screenshot. I don't have it on my dev version, maybe legacy.

No, it's a workaround. The default settings are fine for almost every use case.

Thanks, I removed this option in 9.X cause the plugin detects the content type. However, this has to do with progress updates and widget/views refresh.

(Custom) skins/skin helpers refreshes the lists based on events e.g. a Kodi scan event. There are two sorts of scans audio and video. If you don't enabled this option, audio views might not be updated.
