steven_pilch 5 Posted January 19, 2024 Posted January 19, 2024 Hi Currently running into some issues with Live TV not starting and pausing. While using the Native Player (attached logs files) When Live TV doesn't start I change the quality from what it currently set to. ( Could be Auto or something else) Then it seems to load, but may pause at some moments. Issue was only noticed after updating to the latest version of Emby Server. While Using MPV. Audio is out of sync and the video stutters the entire playback. Live TV does start without issues. embyserver(1).txt ffmpeg-transcode-636043bc-4670-4b15-9215-f14a982ccc17_1.txt
Luke 42077 Posted January 19, 2024 Posted January 19, 2024 Hi, try resetting all customizations from the diagnostics plugin back to default.
steven_pilch 5 Posted January 19, 2024 Author Posted January 19, 2024 Hi @Lukeis it just a server restart? I don’t see a specific reset option under that plugin.
steven_pilch 5 Posted January 19, 2024 Author Posted January 19, 2024 I think it may be related to the Apple TV app, I did a fresh install of emby and the issue still presists. I don't have any issues with web player or the IOS app. I also noticed if I switch the quality from what ever is set to something lower it works. Changing the setting also doesn't stick some times and I have to revert the quality back to what was working.
Luke 42077 Posted January 20, 2024 Posted January 20, 2024 Quote I did a fresh install of emby and the issue still presists. What version did you fresh install?
steven_pilch 5 Posted January 20, 2024 Author Posted January 20, 2024 And I just noticed an update to version 4.8.0.73 Will install and test 1
steven_pilch 5 Posted January 21, 2024 Author Posted January 21, 2024 So much better with native and mpv, still seeing stuttering with both, especially when watching sports. for some reason there isn’t a log for directstream or transcode. So all I can post is the embyserver log. embyserver.txt 1
