A question about Genres for shows and movies in the guide data

I noticed that all Genres in the Guide data are in English, even if the language is set to French and the Shows or movies are on French channels.

I use Genre Cleaner extension to modify the genre from english to french however it does not affect the Guide Data only the metadata of the recorded shows and movies.

Is there a way to make the Genre in the guide data conform to the language of the show.

Hi, that’s just what the guide data has. We’ll have to see if they offer any more languages.
