user84 46 Posted January 16, 2024 Posted January 16, 2024 I've read the guide for how to setup live TV, and I'd like to use M3U if possible. I assume it will allow me to now have to buy an HDHomeRun and save money? The one thing I can't figure out is where to get the M3U list from that will have my local channels? I have my TV hooked up and I can watch that way, but having everything in Emby would be nice.
Luke 42077 Posted January 17, 2024 Posted January 17, 2024 Hi, finding legal m3u's (iptv) can be difficult. If HDHomerun is available in your area I think the most practical choice is to just incur the one-time cost and buy it.
user84 46 Posted January 17, 2024 Author Posted January 17, 2024 Gotcha. My channels are clear most of the time, but they cut in and out at times, which is why I was hoping to go the M3U path. Would also be nice to be free of the coax cable. Any way I can start with an illegal list and edit the list to only include my local stations?
