Why is it everytime i have to reinstall windows.....

The admin could unplug it, and carry it out of the basement, so it does not get wet, or get a power surge.

ive had it im filing suit against emby first thing in the morning ive literally spen 6 hours trying to get my mom reconnnected and downloaded emby 20 + times and it still wott connect on either of her fire tv cubes. fix your god damn system

Why did you think that doing the same thing 20 times would produce a different result.  Perhaps you should stop and try to work out what's wrong, for instance by asking forhelp and answering the questions you are asked.  At present it's not clear whether you even want to get it working for you, or whether you're just trolling...

You should be saying that to yourself… …in another thread you say you have to reinstall Windows every time there is a Windows update (how can that be?) . How is that in any way the fault of emby?

If you really want us to help you for emby here, (it seems you just want to vent or sabotage emby? Why?) then give some details of your problem and be prepared to give the info asked to help you!

P.S. How did your morning suit filling go? What is the filling fee for such a suit in Florida?

Be reasonable and almost always someone(s) on this forum will go the extra mile to help you!

this keeps happening and you guys keep telling me its not possible

every time we have a storm I have to reinstall emby server

and every god damn time I have to go through a two day can to use the apps Ive already paid for

what is most infuriating is you could alleviate most of this by providing each emby user with a key, it doesnt need to be a "Premiere Key" just a key that shows We Have indeed paid for Access

in my opinion its criminal that you dont

emby is a great program and I used to reccommend it to everyone, but I no longer do this because of this issuewhy would I want to put my friends through the consistent Aggrivation?

Oh, it's possible - but it's not Emby's fault (nor Microsoft's, if you are still saying you have to re-install Windows as well).

If you're interested, you could give us details of your system setup, and what symptoms lead you to think you need to re-install things, and we could (with further questioning, perhaps) help you figure out what's actually happening, and what's best to do to prevent these problems in the future (though there are already plenty of suggestions earlier in the thread).

But that's only if you're interested in fixing this - if you're just trying to keep us amused with your rants, then I guess we can sit back and watch...

Is it reinstall or clean install? Sure you know the difference by now since you doing that too much.

Re install will not wipe out your data, or you keep replacing the hard disk or you format the hdd? If yes, then that clean install, so you doing clean install and you want Emby to install by itself?

Really, what you need is a custom backup for your running OS, so if your always "bad luck" hit you again "soon" as it seem, you simply will restore your OS with all the apps and the settings.

Sounds like OP needs some mental health help as they obviously are in distress and should not own a computer.

In my 30+ years of IT I have never run into an incident where a user has to reinstall windows after every windows update, let alone after a storm.  What kind of Macgyver setup are you running that causes this.  It's more than likely your POS hardware that is the issue, something you've been asked multiple times to come forward with and you've refused to do so.

It's obvious you do not want help, and you just want to rant about nonsensical things in hoping you will get some attention.  If you wanted help, you would have come forth with the information requested instead of going off on tangents.  And I say that as someone who has had some extremely angry posts here myself.
