xXSagaiaXx 25 Posted January 12, 2024 Posted January 12, 2024 I had to delete my metadata folder and move to another drive. Emby will scrape all the images for all my movies and shows but it's not grabbing the primary image. It'll grab the primary image for any new files I copy into my media directory, just not for the ones already there. embyserver.txt
Luke 42081 Posted January 12, 2024 Posted January 12, 2024 Hi, so all you did was delete the metadata folder? By itself, that is not going to do anything other than ..... wait for it... deleting the metadata folder. If you want new metadata to be acquired for existing content then you will need to refresh metadata on it.
xXSagaiaXx 25 Posted January 12, 2024 Author Posted January 12, 2024 I have done this several times with the scheduled task and still same result.

Because there is no scheduled task for refreshing metadata. If you're referring to the normal library scan, all that is doing is looking for new and updated files.
xXSagaiaXx 25 Posted January 12, 2024 Author Posted January 12, 2024 I ran the "Scan Metadata Folder" task.
Neminem 1519 Posted January 12, 2024 Posted January 12, 2024 I would right click on your media folder. 1
xXSagaiaXx 25 Posted January 12, 2024 Author Posted January 12, 2024 This is doing the trick. Thanks for the tip! 1
