Scheduled Recordings missing after forced Windows Update

I have probably around 150 recordings scheduled, for several years, I hate to have to recreate, I do back up my server everyday, and as far as I know I do proper maintenance and everything's up to date.  Once in awhile since I have a very big server I vacuum my database.

This morning I have Windows update set to do at 8:00 a.m. I did notice that the TV guide was doing its schedule task, normally finishes within 30 minutes or less. Which is very quick considering how many channels and servers that I have paid for IPTV.

I basically have multiple backups of every channel in case one goes offline.

Anyways to get to the point, I agree at the bottom right of the windows to go ahead and do the Windows update.

In the meantime I went up to the kitchen and thought that I was only going to be in there for a few minutes, but when I had returned 10 minutes later the windows has already updated and rebooted. I had planned to be standing there watching it. When there is a Windows forced update, how does the MB server react to this? Is it a force shutdown?

Did it mess up my scheduled task recording list?

Maybe it corrupted it?

I do remember enabling the full log last week and never disabled it.

But to try to speed up the process, I went ahead and went to restore and restored everything check marked to yesterday's backup.  This should in return resolve my problem in a hurry...

After the server rebooted I noticed it's doing a new refresh guide, it also rescanned my library.

However my record schedule is still blank?

None of my shows are recording...

Do I need to do a Windows system restore?

Hopefully I messaged everything in enough detail that you're a guru can recreate it.

I'm going to disable Windows auto updates for now until something can be resolved.

I definitely don't want to corrupt anything else on the server.

I guess my question is when something like this happens in the recorded schedule list is missing, what is the fastest quickest way to restore and repair the problem?

As of right now the system restore did not work...

I have no buttons that I can find in the server to disable or enable or repair scheduled recording tasks...

I ended up browsing the channel guide, noticed that one of the listings had a greyes out record that should have been recording. I deleted the scheduled recording. Then I recreated the scheduled recording. Then I returned to the live TV schedules where all the active and future recording should be showing, at that time only the new one that I just created was showing...

So I decided to scroll down through the TV guide to see if there's any other gray recording indicators and there are several however there was one that was red that I did not recreate yet, it should have been grey.. then I returned to the live TV schedule, and all of my scheduled recordings that I have created in the last several years have magically returned.  Keep in mind it did refresh the TV guide after the restore,, did the TV guide have something to do with fixing the missing scheduled recordings, or did what I do with the create a new scheduled recording fix the problem? There should be an easier way to do this instead of trying to guess on what is fixing it.  I tried searching the forms but it comes up with other stuff that's not related to this.  But if I have missed something, maybe somebody can find a better spot for this. I appreciate it
