Connecting Issue

Hi my freind is having an issue with remotely connecting to emby giving the needs to be updated error 

The issue happens in both android apps and ios apps he has had this issue since he first installed emby last year but has only really needed it fixed now

Hi, have you setup https for your server? Are you using a reverse proxy?
