Can't connect to emby media server

Hello I need help because I can't seem to connect to my emby server it keeps saying on the android app that my server needs to be updated but it's already updated

The version of Emby Server I'm on is 4.7.14.0

OK that's odd. Can you try to connect to your server manually by clicking add server. What happens then?

I successfully managed to connect to the server manually.

Yes i am but I find the loading times did accessing my media is slow would that be because of the network the servers running on?

Hard to say. There could be any number of reasons for that.
