HawkXP71 112 Posted January 4, 2024 Posted January 4, 2024 I decided it was time to stop using the NAS as a computer, and instead let it focus on serving files. Current plan is to use windows 11 pro, with a SMB (3) network path connection to the NAS drive. Is the "backup and restore" (emby 4.7) the best route? Backup on the current server, install emby on the new server, restore to the new server. However with the "old" backup and restore, what will be missing? Is there a whitepaper (I googled and couldnt find it) on moving a server?
