Shuffle

Is there a shuffle button feature? I would like to go to TV folder and hit shuffle for random episodes but I can’t find it anyplace. I did find a Kodi add on play random but was curious if shuffle was built in some play for Emby for kodi 

Im using Emby beta server 4.8.0.65 with Emby for Kodi next gen 8.2.14

Yes, but it's not related to the plugin. It's a Kodi function.

 

1. goto a tv show or season and open the context menu -> Queue Item

2. open the left sidebar (left button) and "go to playlist"

3. enable shuffle

(optional): 4. Enable autoplay next: Kodi settings -> Player -> Video -> Play next video automatically -> select "episode" (don't use autoplay for anything other than episodes, it makes Kodi slow if the list is too long). It automatically generates playlists on playback.
