The guid is only used to match up your plugin with the plugins in the plugin catalog. Changing that association is generally the only reason to change the guid value.

I know the channels in the GUI are getting out of sync with the channels in the tuner platform.  I am working on the fix now.

Well I said this earlier, I have found the bug and fixed it. The plugin should now stay in sync with the tuner.  The only requirement is that the channel names must be unique.  I will remove this restriction later.

It isnt working for me on 4.8.0.66
The red "Click to start EmbyTV" button shows up less then a second and is then out of frame

and i got one time it like this:

After making it clickable i just get a blank page:
