Thanks Q-Droid. I've spent hours on this, read through the thread and realised I'd updated everythign, but was using my email, not my username to login.

Hi,

I'm using Emby Server 4.8.0.73 beta and Opensubtitles plugin 1.0.47.0.

It's working for English and Portuguese (Brazil), and probably other languages, but I have problems with Portuguese (PT-pt).
It always returns "No results..." for Portuguese but if I make a search on the opensubtitles.com website they are present and I can download them with no problem.

The Creator (IMDB: tt11858890) is an example.

Can you please check for this issue?

@Luke, maybe query should be done for "pt-PT" instead of just "pt"? Likely goes for all main languages?

I confirm the same problem in version 4.7.14.0 and the Open Subtitles plugin 1.0.45.0.
Search for subtitles in pt-br but nothing in pt-pt, even if they exist in the search on the Open Subtitles website, with and without VIP.
The rest awaits a solution.

Almost 1 week with no reply and with some debugging already done by @GrimReaperthat seems to perfect identify the cause.

I'm aware that you have loads of other stuff to look at, but at least a "We will take a look at it when possible."? And a thanks to GrimReaper for the help?

A quick search for your latest posts and I don't understand why the lack of response. There's even a new post about the OpenSubtitles plugin ("OpenSubtitles no longer work.") made 5h ago with a lot of replies from you. The only difference I can see is that the user indicates that he has a subscription. Well I also have an active one, but I don't want to believe that that's the reason.

I will keep believing that you might have missed my posts.

Did not ruled out that.

That's why I've posted a follow up after testing new versions of the plugin, but got no answer. And still waited until other user reported the same.

The reply can even be "I don't care."! But a reply is the minimum, don't you agree?

If not for me, at least for the other users that have "wasted" they're time helping.

Ignoring, in my opinion, is never the best way. But I'm sure theres a reason.

Just want to leave feedback about the issue with pt-PT language and probably other variants.

With the 4.8.0.76 Beta and OpenSubtitles plugin 1.0.51.0 all seems to work well.

Just add ''tiltovi.com'' for subtitle downloading already. The only subtitle plugin that ''works'' on emby is opensubtitles, and it barely works now and sucks. God, Emby was great before I started being a premium user, ever since then, down the drain.

And, yes I bought the VIP subscription on opensubtitles, which sucks and is still limited. Manual downloading of subtitles never works, always get and error. It seems only results are from Opensubtitles only. What's up with Podnapisi? Could you add some normal and free option for downloading subtitles. VLC, BSplayer and Kodi have zero issues with downloading subtitles.

Did you read my whole post? I am a subscribed VIP memeber. Why does Emby have limits on downloading subtitles. There is none on Kodi or other video players. Emby use to give me many subtitle results 2 years ago, and now I get like 5 bad options for download.

But that's not the only issue. Why I'm not getting any results from other subtitle plugins?

Emby does not limit you download's, Opensubtitles does.

Looking on opensubtitles.com if you only get 100 sub downloads, you are not VIP, only silver.

Ok the only errors about subtitles in those logs are about 

Addic7ed and Podnapisi with some errors I have not seen before.

I would disable those, and try again.

Yes, it's the 1985 MacGyver show. I have English and Croatian set for my download languages. Look, I know how to download subitles manually, and when I do i download them from titlovi.com. Opensubtitles is limited, full of errors and irritating  adds. Titlovi.com has English, Croatia, Serbian, Bosnian and Slovenian subtitles.

I disabled Podnapisi and the other one. Honestly I prefer podnapisi to opensubtitles.

The biggest problem for me is that I can never download manually in Emby android app. I always get an error. Automatic downloads work, barely.

I guess I'll have to load my entire library in Kodi and set it to download subtitles from titlovi.com. 

Keep in mind, I have about 5000 movies and 300 Tv series.

Ohh do you use any of the Arr's ( Sonarr & Radarr ) then bazarr might help you.

Don't know if bazarr supports Titlovi.com.

Took a little look at Titlovi.com but did not find a api that emby can use.

Do they have an API emby ?
