Great, thanks. Are you happy continuing to use that?

Hi.  Is it playing exactly the same way or is the other app converting something?

No, mentioned this in another thread but when you pause LiveTV and want it to buffer for a bit when you try to jump forward in the cached content it keeps going back to the start of where you paused it.  Example.  I am watching the news and want to watch the weather.  But not sure when it will be on.  So I pause it and go do something.  Come back 20 minutes later and hit play.  Try jumping forward or fast forwarding and keeps going back to when I paused it.

I can check but my issue watching TS based content was showing direct play and apparently wasn't since when I told it to direct play TS materials started working again.  Thinking maybe what's being displayed isn't accurate?  Not sure if the two android apps would play the Emby LiveTV content differently.

Ok well good news, that will change soon.

Thought I'd follow up on this.  Don't use Emby much for live TV as the cut out of audio is annoying but watching it now and cuts out every 10 seconds.  Here's the fully part.  The audio cuts every 10 seconds when watching the news, but when it switches to commercials doesn't do it.

Hi.  Can you try searching for our standard android app (Just "Emby" on Amazon and "Emby for Android on Google) on the same device's app store and see how that compares?

Thanks.

Does this relate to my problem with live tv stopping after 3 seconds?

Sorry for the delay.  Thought I responded to this.  Seems the Android phone version works with the test I did so far however the Android TV version doesn't always do this either but does a lot.  Thought I mentioned or maybe was a different thread, there is no caching of live content if you like pause, and no way to go back a few minutes of a show you are watching using this version of the app not an ideal solution.

Hi, and you tried this on the TV device?

Yes one that just says Emby and on the NVidia Shield.  If not mentioned when i record TV in Emby it's clean other than occasionally it doesn't record the full show but most of the time it does and no audio cutout.
