Audio/Video out of sync

Hey all, thanks in advance for your time. Long time user, same server same files, now some become horribly out of sync about 1/2 way thru viewing a movie. usually stopping and starting again solved the issue but most of the time it becomes unwatchable. It seems random, it does it with newer files and older files, with browser or in an app, even after re-encoding a movie to make sure its not the file. the Emby server software is up to date as is the box (windows 10, Lenovo Thinkserver with Xeon 4c and 32gb ram). I've had the same box for years and this is a new issue so the only common demoniator is the server, but i dont know what else to try. Any ideas?
