Unable to link emby connect email to new user

Hi all,

Happy Holidays. Hey! Trying to add a new user to my server, but it's saying it's unable to due to a connection error. I dont see an issue on my end thusfar, but still reviewing. No changes made to my router. Existing Emby Connect users are able to access my server and stream with no issue.

 

This is the error I am getting, see below:
"There was an error performing the requested operation. Your server is unable to contact our Emby Connect Server at https://connect.emby.media. Please ensure your server has an active internet connection and that the communications are being allowed by any firewall or security software you have installed."

Hi.  Check your firewall.  People accessing your server are inbound traffic.  What appears to not be working is outbound.

@Osorustypical causes of this are firewall, security software, or VPN. Please look into those and let us know what you find. Thanks !
