I wanted to try to speed up migration of a .strm library to new server.   I enabled nfo saving, saving media into the folders, let it update and populate all the files etc.  

I moved the files to the new server, added the library, made sure that nfo was set as a metadata source, but the library scan still takes ages and appears to be reaching out to online metadata providers.  

All my media folders have the IMDB ID encoded in them so that future media added is ID'd properly. 

If I want the scan to use local data for the import do I need to disable online sources during the initial import so that nfo is the only metadata source on the library, and then re-enable the online options after the initial import completes?
