bruor 43 Posted December 20, 2023 Posted December 20, 2023 I'm able to sign into app.emby.media and connect to my servers, but when I sign into my LG app (I've just uninstalled and reinstalled), only one server in the list of them is clickable and has a URL showing. When I try to click on the others nothing happens. For these entries, there are no URLs listed below the server names. I've also tried removing my email, re-adding it, and re-confirming the link, but the app doesn't seem to pick up the connectivity details.

bruor 43 Posted December 20, 2023 Author Posted December 20, 2023 (edited) I was able to sign into an incognito session and it works as expected via app.emby.media. This is what I'm seeing here after uninstall/reinstall/connect I've attempted to edit the network details for wflx1, but no URL is populated and the button for it isn't clickable for it, nor the server on the right which is on my LAN. bruor 43 Posted December 20, 2023 Author Posted December 20, 2023 (edited) Same issue on my Samsung, it was not signed into connect. I signed in and the right 2 icons are unclickable. Edited December 20, 2023 by bruor
bruor 43 Posted December 20, 2023 Author Posted December 20, 2023 LG is 1.0.39 Samsung is 1.2.6 shows fully up to date from the store (Canada)
Luke 42081 Posted December 20, 2023 Posted December 20, 2023 OK thanks. So based on what you're seeing with app.emby.media, that's a good sign that this has been resolved for those next app releases.
bruor 43 Posted December 20, 2023 Author Posted December 20, 2023 Ok, what is the ETA on the next version updates for the apps both platforms? My workaround is to manually enter server details for the time being?
Luke 42081 Posted December 20, 2023 Posted December 20, 2023 As soon as the updates get through the review processes for those stores. 1
bruor 43 Posted December 26, 2023 Author Posted December 26, 2023 I was able to figure this out after a LOT of trial and error. I had set up haproxy on pfsense for one of the servers in my list and the SSL compatibility mode was set to modern which would have enforced a requirement for TLS 1.3. I relaxed that setting and now Firestick and affected smart TVs show the server connection details and allow login as expected. 1
