Stop Emby from creating .info files, or put them somewhere else

Title says it all. How can I do this? It's not listed in the library settings.

You mean .nfo files? Disable Metadata Savers>Nfo in your library settings. Note that that will only prevent writing .nfos for newly added conent, you'll have to delete existing .nfos manually/on OS level.

I did mean .nfo files, somehow it got 'corrected'

 

Anyway, I already disabled .nfo but it still creates it

For Recordings library, AFAIK this still stands (irrespective of selected library setting):

That's all you need to do, but please note that changing library settings won't delete existing ones that have already been created.
