Audio books not showing played/not saving location

This issue is replicated on IPHONE EMBY APP as well.

 

Listening to a MP3 - every time I start the audio file it starts at the beginning unless I keep the app open, then it 90% of the time picks up where it left off. Last 10% is that IOS closed the app in the background.

I don't see an option to change this behavior and it ruins listening to audios that you have to stop and restart.
