TN24 1 Posted December 15, 2023 Posted December 15, 2023 Hi, I've only been using emby for a short time, I bought emby premiere. Emby sometimes assigns the metadata to a newly added series incorrectly. For example, I have a folder "Reacher (2022)" but emby identified it as The Teacher 2022. Is there any way to solve this problem? embyserver.txt

pwhodges 2012 Posted December 15, 2023 Posted December 15, 2023 What is your current file name and folder structure for the series? This can easily throw Emby off if it's not sufficiently in line with their naming requirements. Paul

Luke 42081 Posted December 15, 2023 Posted December 15, 2023 You could also use the identify feature instead of renaming.
Neminem 1519 Posted December 15, 2023 Posted December 15, 2023 I would read through this TV Naming | Emby Documentation
Solution TN24 1 Posted December 15, 2023 Author Solution Posted December 15, 2023 So I solved it! I renamed the folder from "Reacher (2022)" to "Jack Reacher (2022)". After that, everything identified itself. 1
