Hi.  Is this a brand new channel?  Have you checked other lineups in that area to see if it is included?

I don't know what you mean by other lineups?  You mean on my TV - yes, and my HDHomerun.

I've not been asked this question before when requesting new channels be added.

If it is a brand new channel then it will get picked up by our provider.  Sometimes this takes some time though.

I asked about the lineup because the provider sometimes just adds a new lineup for your area that includes the new channel.

Sure, I suppose Emby's provider could eventually pick it up, maybe, hopefully, but when will that be?  In the past Cayars would be a bit more proactive and tell the provider.

I mean that they may have added a different lineup in  your area that does have that channel.  They've been re-creating some lineups lately.

Sorry, I still don't know what you mean by "lineup".  The channel is not in the entire list of all my channels.

When you add a guide source, you select a "lineup" which is a list of channels and guide data provided by GN.

Today it is working.  I have only 1 OTA lineup, which makes sense.  So, no, there are no other lineups to choose from.

Well, you asked me to check for lineups, right?  I told you there was a problem with lineups showing in Emby.  Then I showed you that lineups were working.  I didn't say the channel showed up - I would have clearly stated that and not bothered with showing you that Emby was now showing lineups.  I apologize for not being more clear when stating that "it" was working.

So, to be clear, both channel issues I mentioned are not yet corrected. @ebr

There was an error downloading the lineups. Please check the zip code, ensure it is correct and try again. 

If the issue persists then please attach the emby server log. Could just be a gracenote server outage of some sort. It's rare, but it does happen.

Luke, if you look past that post, you will see it worked the next day.  Thus the 'random' problem I reported a few minutes ago where I referenced the log. 

And, yes, I verified the ZIP ...

The server log would be needed to find out what happened when you saw that error message. Most likely answer is temporary Gracenote outage.
