ebr 16169 Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 Hi. If you scroll all the way to the bottom of the home screen on your new TV is there a "Customize your home screen" option?

ebr 16169 Posted December 8, 2023 Posted December 8, 2023 Okay, then you have one of the newer Google TV implementations that is restricting this to streaming service partners. We aren't a streaming service but, if you click that button are there any options for us?

Hi, we haven't removed anything. The newer Google TV implementations are restricting this to Google's streaming service partners.

There are full instructions for integrating with Google TV's Watch Next channel at https://developer.android.com/training/tv/discovery/watch-next-add-programs You need the app to be certified, but the certification process is simple enough.

And on the platforms that support it, both of our apps utilize that.

One of the following must be correct: 1) You have incorrectly ready my post 2) You misunderstood my post 3) Your implementation of the Google TV API is incorrect 4) You have not contacted Google to certify your app 5) You are lying My own app for Google TV has no problems adding media to the Watch Next channel. I am not one of "Google's Streaming partners", so it is definitely not limited to "partners" as you guys have suggested. Maybe, instead of making up excuses, and blaming Google for your issues, you could simply fix the problem.

They both do that currently for in progress items. 6 hours ago, Paul9876 said: so it is definitely not limited to "partners" as you guys have suggested. It is a different level of channels on the home screen that has been restricted in some implementations of Google TV - not the Play Next channel. However, you should also notice that newer implementations of Google TV are starting to kind of hide that channel in favor of pushing partner content. (you have to specifically navigate to it now)
AlexandreSOLA 0 Posted August 26, 2024 Posted August 26, 2024 For me the only way to have emby recommandations with other service prodivers is by using a custom launcher like projectivy launcher. As mentionned above, it is possible to contact Google to register Emby as an existing content provider ?
