Gibt es ein ChangeLog ? Vielleicht auch ein Github Repo?

Ich habe auch schon überlegt, das originale zu forken.

Ich hätte gerne Dolby Vision Logos.

Das 4K skin finde ich übrigens auf einen 55" TV zu klein. Teste gerade die 2K Version.

Dann sitzt Du einfach zu weit weg - wenn Du im optimalen Sitzabstand sitzt, dann passt es auch.

Ich hätte auch gerne so manches - aber wie ich bereits am Anfang geschrieben habe, ich habe nicht wirklich Ahnung von Kodi-Programmierung. Also selber machen bitte und hier einbringen.

Und der optimale Sitzabstand ist 1m ?

Es werden viele Sachen auch nicht richtig skaliert in 4k.

Wenn ich mal Zeit hab Forke ich das original. Hab aber auch schon überlegt einen anderen skin zu verwenden.

Wie ich bereits mehrfach erwähnte, ich hab es im Rahmen meiner Möglichkeiten angepasst. Ich bekomme weder Geld noch sonst irgendwelchen Vergünstigungen. Im Gegenteil, ich bezahle Geld für Emby und das was beanstandet wird, bzw. erbittet wird, wird von den Verantwortlichen ausgeschlagen, bzw. komplett ignoriert. Irgendwo verschwindet auch meine Lust, irgend etwas beizutragen.

I don't know why it doesn't work for you, but it works for me without any problems. I've had the same device since last week. I have installed the latest Omega 21.2 Nightly with CPM A13.

The version attached to the first post of this topic? I'm on A11, but otherwise the same.

No - CoreELEC actually has nothing to do with this thread. It's just a coincidence that I now also have an Ugoos box and can therefore tell you that it works for me.

Yes, I meant the Embuary version attached to the OP of this thread. That's what I tried to install, I was asking if there was perhaps a newer version and the OP hadn't been updated.

So here's the latest version - unfortunately I can't edit my first post as a normal user. You'll have to go through the individual posts/pages of the thread for better or worse.

That one works. Though, it's not much like Emby beyond the home page...I just want to view my libraries as posters and be able to sort them (including by "random") and filter them, but it doesn't seem there's any way to do that in Kodi.

A lot is possible - you just have to customise it. You also have to familiarise yourself with the skin and widgets.

It's not just the settings - it's also the widgets that you have to create and modify yourself. I myself have only worked a little on the appearance and enabled the installation on Omega. Fine-tuning is up to each user.

Was für ein Trauerspiel. Da lesen viele nur den ersten oder den letzten Post.  90% kapieren nicht, dass ich den ersten Post nicht mehr ändern kann, und dann jammern sie rum, auf Omega kann es nicht installiert werden. Kaum einer registriert, dass ich von der Programmierung von so einem Skin eigentlich gar keine Ahnung habe. Dann kommt der eine, er will noch Dolby Vision Logos haben, er will noch jenes haben - hier wird einfach bestellt, wie beim Schreiner mit der Sonderanfertigung vom Schuhschrank. Dann muss ich immer wieder eine komplette Zusammenfassung vom Threat in einer einzigen Antwort zusammen fassen. Bin ich hier bei der Serie "Stargate SG1" gelandet, wo am Ende der Staffel zwei komplette Folgen zum Überblick für die ganzen Serie verschwendet werden?

Keiner versteht es so richtig, dass ich überhaupt kein Geld dafür bekomme. Das ist MEINE Zeit, die ich dafür investiere.

Und dann erwarten viele, dass mit dem blanken installieren des Skins alles perfekt sitzt. Sorry, wer Kodi kennt, ohne Basis Wissen läuft hier gar nichts. Ohne Expertenmodus und Feintuning läuft kein Kodi, so wie man es gerne hätte. Wer nicht mal weiß, wie man so einen Skin installiert, sollte es besser ganz lassen und bei der App bleiben. Ich bin nicht eure Mutti, die euch das Butterbrot schmiert.

Bis auf wenige hier, wo wichtige Hinweise geliefert haben, wo was falsch ist, wo es dann auch auf Omega installiert werden kann, kommt hier nicht wirklich Hilfe rüber. Ja, ich hätte auch gerne DV-Logos, ich hätte auch gerne eine Anzeige der Bitrate von Video- und Audiospuren. Aber ich weiß nicht wie ich das umsetzen soll. Ich hatte einfach gehofft, dass sich hier noch weitere einbringen, und diesen tollen Skin noch mehr Glanz zu verleihen, aber das war mal wieder reines Wunschdenken. 
 

Ich für meinen Teil mag einfach nicht mehr - ich habe keine Lust, immer und immer wieder die gleichen Fragen zu beantworten, weil derjenige zu faul ist, sich den ganzen Threat mal durchzulesen.

What a tragedy. Many people only read the first or last post. 90% don't realise that I can't change the first post, and then they moan that it can't be installed on Omega. Hardly anyone realises that I have no idea how to program such a skin. Then someone comes along and says they want Dolby Vision logos, they want something else - they just order it like a customised shoe cabinet from a carpenter. Then I always have to summarise the entire thread in a single answer. Have I ended up here with the series "Stargate SG1", where at the end of the season two complete episodes are wasted as an overview of the whole series?

Nobody really understands that I don't get any money for this. This is MY time that I'm investing in it.

And then many people expect everything to be perfect just by installing the skin. Sorry, anyone who knows Kodi, nothing works here without basic knowledge. Without expert mode and fine-tuning, Kodi won't run the way you want it to. If you don't even know how to install a skin like this, it's better to leave it alone and stick with the app. I'm not your mum to butter your bread.

Apart from a few people here who have provided important tips on where things are wrong and where they can be installed on Omega, there is no real help here. Yes, I would also like to have DV logos, I would also like to have a display of the bit rate of video and audio tracks. But I don't know how to implement this. I was just hoping that others would join in here and add even more lustre to this great skin, but that was once again just wishful thinking.

For my part, I just don't like it anymore - I don't feel like answering the same questions over and over again because the person is too lazy to read through the whole thread.

@TeddyknuddelIt's been quite a while since I stopped by to take a look at this skin. I was hoping to find an update and some fixes. I am sad and sorry to see your rant and goodbye!

I think you did great work trying to get this skin upgraded to 2k/4k. Were there bugs, glitches & warts, yeah, sure there were, but with all your disclaimers up front about hacking it together without really knowing what you were doing, I think you did a great job.

Unfortunately, this is the state of FOSS - a few people give and the great unwashed masses take and take and take.
