one question please. Using 9.1.1 with Kodi 21 beta 1, is it normal that boxsets don't get synced at the moment? I see a popup which indicates that boxsets get synced but after it finishes, boxsets are empty. 

Dynamic node is working of course.

My boxsets are all populated correctly.  I'm running beta 2, but I'm positive they were working on beta 1 also.

Hmm, using Beta 2 now and IT also does'nt work. Did you use addon or native mode?

It also automatically refreshed all my boxsets after upgrading to beta 2 (maybe because of the db changes?).  Saw it flashing at the top of my screen.

OK, thank you for the reply. I'm also using native mode and can't get boxsets to work. Maybe I will try a clean install but version 8.x is working in case of Initial boxset sync.

Did you allow it to reset your entire Kodi db?  Only other thing I can think of. 

I'm sure QM will be able to figure it out though.

No, not at the moment. btw, I sync 120k in around 1-2 minutes.

I'll check the xsp files. Maybe a plugin bug. The other issues (GetDirectory) should not cause any issues,

For dynamic libraries, i'm not sure how to change the default sort option for all episodes across all tv shows. It seems to still be based on title and i have to manually change them for each show / each season. is this feature still pending for dynamic libraries? 

I'd like to sort by episode number which seems to be missing as well.

Seeing two issues related to theme media playback in 8.x vs 9.x.  Emby 4.8.0.61 and .62.  Kodi 20.2 on Win11.  Latest version of the TVTunes add-on from Latt's.

8.2.15 - Theme media syncs and plays properly for movie library only.  TV show library themes do not sync (library seems to be ignored entirely)

9.1.0 and 9.1.1 - Kodi freezes when theme media playback starts, TV library appears to sync properly (and TV shows will attempt theme playback and trigger the freeze)

Exact same behaviors persisted between clean installs of Windows (not related to this).  I'm not sure at what point  8.x the TV sync stopped, existing shows that had already been synced kept working until I rebuilt that box the first time.  For 9.x freezing Kodi, the debug log stops with what looks like a timeout while trying to call the appropriate theme mp3.  In all cases E4K is in add-on mode and theme media is linked not copied.

8.2.15 is otherwise good here, this is not a showstopper lol.  Just something for the 9.x list, I can generate some logs this weekend if desired.

Yes, but which one of the dynamic (tv shows) nodes. e.g. if you use the folder node or recently added etc. it could make a difference.

Also the skin settings (when you integrate the node) could overwrite the sort order.

For verification (rule out skin integration issue), you must browse the node via plugin menu directly and not via skin.

Changed from version 8 to 9 because of issues displaying starting home movies in collections. 

Not a good idea, it is really a early beta ;-). 

Home video collections don't work anyway, but and that is really good, folders of home videos are shown next to the not working collections. 

 

That is even better and more usable. If the collections would dissappear and only the folders would remain that would be a good solution.

 

Pictures don't work anymore in folder view. The subfolders are not shown.

Yes. After going to the information - page of home videos there is no play button. You will have to start the movie by context menu (long pressing ok button on the remote). 

On "normal" movies everything works as it should, I think.

I found the issue, will be fixed in next version.
