Don't know if this does mean anything, but I noticed that when I clear Kodi db, restart kodi and sync Embyforkodi 9.x for the first time, when sync is ended, I see anything under movies or tvshows. I have to close kodi again and reopen and now my library is populated. It seems to me that with 8.x version I don't have to restart kodi, but maybe I'm wrong or maybe is the last kodi update that changed this behaviour.

Only way to debug this, assigning me a test account on your server.

Had the same behaviour in the past with 9.x.x

Very strange: I have done a new test recording this evening. This recording appears in folder view without problem!

Hi,

I just upgraded to 9.4.11. from 8.x

I have a problem now that the 'year' for most of my movies is missing in Kodi now.

I also cannot browse my picture folders anymore from dynamic nodes.

Both was no issue before.

I cannot help you without detailed information and logs. Both are working on my setup.

Ok, thanks at least I found one problem. Please try the attached version, this should fix year issue. You must resync.

btw, "The Hills Have Eyes - Hügel der blutigen Augen.mkv" seems to be corrupt.

For picture folder browsing, I need another log when you perform that action.

thanks for the fix. The year issue is fixed now.

here's the log for the browsing problem. So I can go into pictures 'folders' from dynamic nodes but only see one folder. Actually I have a folder for each year. I'm also not able to open this folder.

 

Another problem I have is that I'm not able to get HDR flags shown in Kodi. I use Aeon Nox Silvo and only get them to work when displaying the info sceen while watching a movie. When just browsing the library it only says SDR. But Im not really sure if this is related to emby next gen. However, it should work with the skin.

I use the following syntax for my movies for example: somemoviename.hdr10.dv.atmos.mkv

For Kodi you should rename the movie like: somemoviename.hdr.10bit.dv.atmos.mkv

I see at least one issue in this log, Looks like a homevideo with missing stream information. I'll fix that tomorrow.

No changes related to that matter. Whatever causes the issue is not related to latest version. I need a log when this happens.

I checked the new version but it's not solved unfortunately.

What Folder? Is this a Photoalbum? Can you post a screenshot of the selection.

Please try browsing via "PhotoAlbum"

Also you can try 10.X. This version actually addresses multiple issues with dynamic nodes.

If this is not the stable version, howcome it was automatically installed via the stable repo on all my clients? Uninstalling and reinstalling via the stable repo kept reinstalling this version I've had sync issues with.  I've had to manually downgrade to "plugin.video.emby-next-gen-9.4.10.zip" as per this post...

There are just tiny changes between 9.4.10 and 9.4.12. Please send me a kodi.log for review, I'm really curious what's the issue.

Unfortunately, I have to confirm that too. Version 9.4.12 doesn't synchronize with my client either.

--> I also had to downgrade to 9.4.10

Please send me a kodi.log, I really need to review this issue. Currently I'm testing over and over again and I have zero issues on my setup.
