Mibox S 4K - Problem Transcode in MPEG4 XVID

Dear friends

I have a problem with files in MPEG4 XVID format, my Mibox S 4K is always transcoding when I play files in this format, from what I saw in the description of the box, it has a Video Decoder 4K at 60fps, VP9, H.264, MPEG1/2/4, VC-1, Real8/9/10 so I don't understand why this problem is only happening on this device.

I carried out a test with the same files on other devices in my house and it played without problems.

   

  

I also did a test on Plex to see if there would be any problems with the same file and it ran successfully.

XVID is notoriously problematic.

Hi.  Can you try sideloading our standard android app on the same device and see how that compares?

I went back to version 2.93 that I downloaded from the emby website for Android TV and the same transcode problem remains.

The question is, is the problem with the emby player!?

   

I carried out the same test on Plex and it is reproducing the MPEG4 format directly via Mibox S 4K.

I went back to version 2.83 and now playing MPEG4 without transcode works correctly.

So there is a problem in the player of the most current app for Android TV that is causing transcode in this video format.
